Marc Utay, Managing Partner at Clarion Capital Partners, Honored with Simon Wiesenthal Center’s 2025 Humanitarian Award

NEW YORK, NY, September 30, 2025 – Clarion Capital Partners, LLC (“Clarion” or the “Firm”) is proud to announce that its Founder and Managing Partner, Marc Utay, has been honored with the Simon Wiesenthal Center's 2025 New York Humanitarian Award, for his decades of leadership, philanthropy, and commitment to the organization’s mission.

The Humanitarian Award is given to individuals who contribute to promoting human rights and advancing tolerance. In bestowing the honor on Marc Utay, the center recognized his dedication to educating young people about standing against prejudice and combating hate.

Accepting the recognition during the organization’s annual awards dinner on September 9th in New York City, Marc reflected on his four decades-long relationship with the Simon Wiesenthal Center. He emphasized the importance of standing against all forms of hate and the need to adapt to meet new and emerging challenges. Calling antisemitism “the challenge of our generation,” Marc urged the audience to take action. “It’s all hands on deck,” he said. “We need everyone’s participation to confront it.” Listen to Utay’s full acceptance speech here: SWC Honors Marc Utay - Marc's speech.

The Simon Wiesenthal Center’s CEO, Jim Berk, praised Marc’s work in remarks at the dinner. “He doesn’t just write checks,” Berk said. “He invests his capital, his time, and his soul. He understands that antisemitism cannot rest on Jewish shoulders alone—it is a universal struggle. Through his leadership, he has championed education as the most powerful answer to hate.”

The Simon Wiesenthal Center is a global advocacy organization fighting antisemitism, defending the State of Israel, and using the lessons of the Holocaust to teach tolerance through its Museums of Tolerance, social action, and storytelling.
