Clarion Capital Partners Earns Third Consecutive Top 10 Placement on HEC Paris-Dow Jones Small-Cap Buyout Performance Ranking Clarion Capital Partners Earns Third Consecutive Top 10 Placement on HEC Paris-Dow Jones Small-Cap Buyout Performance Ranking
NEW YORK, NY, May 19, 2026 – Clarion Capital Partners, LLC (“Clarion” or the “Firm”) today announced it has once again received a top ten ranking on HEC Paris-Dow Jones’ Small Cap Buyout Performance Ranking for 2025. This marks the Firm’s third consecutive year placing in the top ten.
The 2025 HEC Paris-Dow Jones Small-Cap Buyout Performance Ranking lists the world's top Lower-Middle-Market PE firms based on aggregate performance across a rolling 10-year, multi-fund track record — recognizing only those firms that have demonstrated consistent outperformance over time and across multiple investment cycles. In total, the rankings analyzed performance data from 695 PE firms and the 1,439 funds raised between 2012 and 2021, representing an aggregate equity volume of $2.5 trillion. Clarion's seventh place finish places the Firm in the top 1% of all PE firms evaluated, with a performance score of 1.16.
“It’s truly been an honor to receive this recognition for the past three years,” said David Ragins, Clarion President of Private Equity. “This ranking underscores our team’s commitment to delivering for our investors year after year. Thank you to the Clarion team, our LPs, and advisors for making this achievement possible once again.”
Since 2009, HEC Paris and Dow Jones have worked together to publish regular rankings of PE firms based on historic performance and expected future competitiveness. Small-cap firms considered for the rankings have raised a minimum of two funds with an aggregate value of $100 million–$1 billion over the past decade. Read more about the award here.
This recognition marks the second honor for the Firm this year, following Clarion's recognition in January as a Top 50 PE Firm in the Middle Market by Grady Campbell Incorporated (GCI) Publishing.
